Reminders for Outpatient Appointments: Lab, X-Ray, Ultrasound

• At this time, we must ask that patients do not arrive early for their appointments. Due to COVID-19 we have had to significantly reduce the size of our waiting area and we must ensure minimal occupancy at all times. If you arrive too early for your appointment, you may be asked to wait outside. 
• Please ensure you HAVE an appointment, before coming to the Hospital.  We cannot accommodate walk-ins at this time.    
• Please remember that the Lab and Diagnostic Imaging staff are also responsible for attending to emergencies in the Hospital ED.  While we aim to have enough coverage for both areas, this is not always possible and emergent patients will take priority over outpatients.  This may mean a longer wait then usual, if you happen to be here during an emergency.  
• Finally, we are very happy to welcome our new Laboratory Technician, Alexandra!  Alex is a recent graduate from Oxford College in Barrie, Ontario, and has already jumped into being an important part of our Team!  Alex is here on an internship, sponsored by the Hospital and the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund.  Welcome Alex! We hope you enjoy your time at the Hospital and in our beautiful community!
